AI-Native Bookkeeper (Xero AU + Payroll) - Australian Hospitality Clients

Roger Financial is an Australian bookkeeping and accounting firm that works only with hospitality businesses (cafes, bars, QSRs, restaurants). We are AI-native: our own automations do the grunt work, and our bookkeepers review, decide and talk to clients.

We are hiring a senior bookkeeper to own a portfolio of Australian clients.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Weekly bank reconciliation in Xero (Australian files)
- Weekly payroll in Xero Payroll AU: timesheets (Deputy), payslips, STP
- Weekly supplier payment batches (ABA files) and remittances
- Reconciliation queries: chase missing invoices, keep client query sheets current
- Client emails using our fixed templates
- Work inside our staff portal with an AI assistant (Ask Roger) built into your workflow

WHAT WE NEED
- 3+ years bookkeeping on Australian Xero files, payroll experience essential
- Excellent written English
- You already use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude or similar) every day and can show us how
- Full time, Australian business hours (AEST)
- Reliable internet and a quiet workspace, and you are comfortable with screen recording during the application test
