Welcome to OnlineBestJobs.ph. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and OnlineBestJobs.ph. We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a contract to use our services. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements. Accounts registered by automated means or on behalf of others without authorisation are prohibited.

3. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate and truthful information when registering and maintaining your profile.
  • You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts for the same individual.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Employer Responsibilities

  • Job postings must be for legitimate work opportunities. Fraudulent, misleading, or illegal job postings are strictly prohibited.
  • Employers must not post contact details (phone, email, external URLs) in job descriptions as a means to bypass the platform.
  • Employers are solely responsible for the terms of their working relationships with hired workers, including pay rates, working hours, and payment method.
  • OnlineBestJobs.ph is not a party to any employment or contractor agreement between employers and workers.

5. Worker Responsibilities

  • Worker profiles must accurately represent skills, experience, qualifications, and identity.
  • Workers must not misrepresent their identity, plagiarise portfolio work, or submit false credentials.
  • Workers are solely responsible for their tax obligations arising from income earned through the platform.

6. Prohibited Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on OnlineBestJobs.ph:

  • Posting spam, solicitations, or irrelevant content.
  • Harassment, threats, or discriminatory behaviour toward any user.
  • Attempting to circumvent platform fees by conducting transactions off-platform before a connection is established.
  • Uploading malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
  • Scraping, crawling, or data-mining the platform without written permission.
  • Impersonating another person, business, or entity.

7. Subscription Plans and Payments

  • Employer subscription plans are billed monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled.
  • Worker subscription plans are billed monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled.
  • Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued.
  • We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
  • All fees are in USD unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for any applicable taxes or bank fees.

8. Platform Fees and Direct Payments

OnlineBestJobs.ph does not process payments between employers and workers. Payments for work performed are made directly between the parties using their agreed method. We are not responsible for payment disputes arising from those arrangements.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on OnlineBestJobs.ph — including logos, design, software, and text — is the property of OnlineBestJobs.ph and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission. User-generated content (profiles, job postings, messages) remains the property of the respective user, but you grant us a licence to display it on the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

OnlineBestJobs.ph provides the platform "as is" and makes no warranties regarding uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including disputes between employers and workers, loss of income, or data loss.

11. Dispute Resolution

OnlineBestJobs.ph is not responsible for resolving disputes between employers and workers. We encourage all parties to communicate openly. If you believe another user has violated these Terms, you may report them through the platform. We reserve the right to take appropriate action including account suspension.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.
