Salary: $500/month base + commission (Uncapped)
Realistic target earnings: $500 - $2000/month for strong performers.

We are looking for an experienced outbound cold caller to join our growing team.

This role is best suited to
- someone who has previously worked in a call centre, telesales or appointment-setting environment and
- is comfortable making a high volume (200+) of outbound calls every day.
- speaks fluent English

This is not an inbound customer-service position.

What you will be doing.

You will contact business owners from a qualified prospect list provided by us.

Your primary responsibility will be to:

- Speak directly with business owners or decision-makers
- Clearly explain the reason for the call
- Create interest in the service we have prepared for them
- Book qualified appointments into our calendar
- Enter the prospect’s information into the booking system
- Add accurate notes after each call
- Flag unanswered prospects for another attempt
- Follow up where required
- Keep the prospect tracking sheet updated

You will not initially be responsible for conducting the sales meeting or closing the customer.

Prospects will receive a short five-minute video before their scheduled appointment explaining our service, how the process works and what will be discussed during the call.

Our founder will initially conduct the sales meetings.

Strong performers may have the opportunity to progress into a full-cycle sales role, where you would also conduct the sales calls. This would include additional commission on every customer you close, creating significantly higher earning potential.

You will not be expected to research or generate your own leads if we hire you (but we may ask you to accept a challenge and book at least 1 appointment to be considered for the role).

Who we are looking for

You should have:

- You must be able to speak and write fluent english
- At least two years of outbound cold-calling, telesales or appointment-setting experience
- Proven experience working through large prospect lists
- Experience making high-volume outbound calls (150+ calls per day and successfully booking at least 5 calls a day)
- Confidence speaking directly with business owners
- Strong objection-handling skills
- A clear, confident and professional telephone manner
- The ability to remain consistent despite rejection
- Strong attention to detail when recording notes and booking appointments
- Basic computer, spreadsheet and CRM skills
- The discipline to work independently from home
- A reliable computer
- A quality headset
- Stable internet
- A quiet working environment

Previous sales-closing experience would be advantageous but is not required for the initial appointment-setting role.

Experience making 100–200 or more outbound calls per day will be highly advantageous.

Compensation

$500 fixed monthly contractor retainer
Performance incentives for qualified appointments that attend
Additional commission when customers sign up and make payment and stays longer than 30 days
Uncapped performance-based earning potential
Realistic target earnings as an appointment setter: $500–$2,000+ per month for strong performers.*

*Full-cycle sales representatives who progress into closing customers will receive additional commission and have the opportunity to earn substantially more.

This position will begin with a contractor trial.

Appointment attendance rates
Accuracy of notes and follow-ups
Reliability
Coachability
Overall performance

The campaign may initially focus on South African businesses and will expand into the United States, which could create further earning opportunities and may require different working hours.
