About us
maleup is a German D2C skincare brand for men 40+. We scale primarily through Meta ads, and long-form direct response video is the core of our acquisition.

The role
You'll edit 6 video batches per week, full-time and fully remote. The main focus is VSLs of 3 to 5 minutes, built to hold attention and convert cold traffic. You work from script and raw material to finished ad, largely on your own.

What you'll do

- Edit 3–5 minute VSLs plus hook and variation cuts per batch
- Produce and integrate AI-generated footage (B-roll, product shots, avatars, voice) where it strengthens the ad
- Set German captions, text overlays and on-screen copy without errors
- Iterate on winners based on performance data (hook rate, hold rate, CPA)

Requirements

- Proven experience editing direct response AI videos for eight-figure brands. Non-negotiable. Show us the work and name the brands.
- Flawless German. You write and proofread German captions and overlays independently. Zero spelling or grammar mistakes, because nobody will check your German for you.
- Highly skilled with AI tools. You're fluent in current AI video, image and voice tools, and you pick up new ones without being asked.
Strong direct response understanding: hooks, pacing, pattern interrupts, retention, CTA structure.
Reliable, independent, and able to hit four batches a week consistently.
