Job Description

Peaceful Mind Counseling Center is a growing California mental health group practice seeking a reliable, organized Virtual Assistant to help us develop referral relationships and generate new client referral opportunities.

This is not a billing, credentialing, clinical, or general administrative position. The primary purpose of this role is business development and referral outreach.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable researching potential referral partners, conducting professional email outreach, following up consistently, and maintaining an organized referral database.

Responsibilities
Research potential referral partners throughout California, including psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, primary-care practices, pediatricians, therapists/group practices, schools and colleges, treatment programs, community organizations, and other appropriate referral sources.
Identify therapists and practices that may have full caseloads or waitlists and could refer clients elsewhere.
Locate appropriate contact names, business emails, phone numbers, websites, and referral information.
Send pre-approved outreach emails on behalf of Peaceful Mind Counseling Center.
Conduct professional follow-up outreach.
Maintain an organized referral-tracking spreadsheet.
Track contacts, responses, follow-up dates, interested referral partners, and resulting referrals when known.
Research additional partnership and networking opportunities that could generate appropriate therapy referrals.
Provide a brief weekly report showing outreach activity and results.
What We're Looking For

Experience with mental health, healthcare, private practices, lead generation, referral outreach, or business development is strongly preferred.

You should have excellent written English, strong internet research skills, attention to detail, professional communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Experience researching U.S.-based healthcare organizations is a plus.

No access to patient records or protected health information is required for this role.

Hours & Compensation

Approximately 5 hours per week to start

$5–$6 USD/hour

This will begin as a 30-day paid trial. There is an opportunity for additional hours and a longer-term position if the outreach produces results.
