Full Time Pet Portrait Editor

This is an opportunity for a full time editor to join our team based in the UK. We are looking for workers from anywhere in the world. However, the timings must match up to our UK timeframe in order to assist customers with edits during normal office hours. On top of this, you will be providing the Artwork Manager with support during office hours - editing customers portraits to their specifications and assisting with customers requests.

The ideal candidate will have experience with vector style pet portrait images. To understand how to effectively and accurately illustrate customers' pets and really bring their personality to life.
We work to very strict time schedules and therefore there is a strict minimum edit policy. Around 70% of all edit requests are quick, low effort edits which require very little time to do. However, you will also encounter around 5-10% of orders who ask for more complex changes. This is all factored into your daily targets.

The types of edit requests we receive can vary greatly. However, they are around 70% of the time extremely quick, simple and repetitive jobs. We need for someone to quickly get up to speed with the duration and quality of edits produced. We are an embroidery company who illustrates customers' pets portraits, before embroidering them on a number of items. Due to embroidery limitations, the portraits produced cannot be too detailed, cannot use a blend of colours or gradients and details cannot be too fine.

Ability to read and understand customers' requests fully and accurately.
Ability to work to a tight schedule - utilizing fast and effective editing methods repetitively.
Experience with embroidery ready designs or an understanding of working in limitations in order to create effective embroidery artworks.
Effectively identifying the need for further escalation with difficult customers and problem orders & communicating this with management.
Ability to follow instructions fully - ensuring protocols are always adhered to.
Maintaining an average of no fewer than 7 portrait edits per hour.
Understanding the requirements of embroidery ready artwork and translating customers requests to fit within these limitations.
Maintaining a friendly and professional attitude when sending customers their edited artwork.
Making sure no edits are sent without customers' questions being answered.
