JOIN MYSWATCHES

We’re looking for a talented Packaging & Brand Designer to help bring the MySwatches brand to life across our physical products and customer experience.

We’re looking for someone with a strong eye for branding, packaging, print design, typography, color, and physical presentation.

You’ll help us design everything our customers see when their MySwatches order arrives, from the box itself to inserts, thank-you cards, seasonal packaging, and future product packaging.

We want someone who can take our existing brand and make it feel more polished, recognizable, premium, and exciting to receive.

WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON

Projects may include:

Designing our shipping and product packaging
Creating thank-you cards, inserts, instruction cards, and other printed materials
Designing special edition and seasonal packaging, including Christmas and holiday boxes
Working with dielines and adapting designs for different packaging formats
Creating mockups so we can visualize concepts before production

We’re not looking for someone who just places our logo on a box.

We want someone who thinks about the entire unboxing experience, what the customer sees first, how the packaging feels, where information should go, how everything works together, and what will make the package feel special when it arrives.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You have strong taste and experience designing physical brand materials, ideally for DTC, beauty, fashion, lifestyle, cosmetics, or consumer products.

You should be comfortable taking a relatively open brief and developing several strong creative directions rather than needing every design decision explained to you.

Ideally, you have:

A strong portfolio of packaging and brand design
Experience designing packaging for physical consumer products
Strong typography, composition, color, and branding skills
Experience creating print-ready production files
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar professional design software
Experience creating realistic packaging mockups
Strong attention to detail
Strong written English and communication skills
The ability to take feedback and revise quickly

Experience working with DTC, beauty, fashion, cosmetics, gifting, or female-focused brands is a major plus.

Experience communicating with printers or packaging manufacturers and understanding production limitations is also highly valuable.

ABOUT MYSWATCHES

MySwatches is a personal color analysis brand helping women discover the colors that flatter them most.

Our professional color analysts determine each customer’s personal color palette, and we send them physical cards featuring their colors.

Our hero product, the Swatch Card, makes it simple for customers to know which colors to wear and look for while shopping.

As we grow, we want the physical experience of receiving MySwatches to feel just as special as the product itself.

ROLE DETAILS

This is a remote contract position with ongoing design opportunities.

We’re initially looking for help with several packaging and print projects, including thank-you cards, our standard packaging, Christmas boxes, and other branded materials.

There is potential for ongoing work as we launch new products and continue developing the MySwatches brand.

Compensation will be based on experience, portfolio, and scope of work.
