Science Resource Developer

Location: Remote (Online)
Working Hours: Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week, 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday
Company Time Zone: Perth, Australia +8 GMT
Salary: $500USD - $600USD per month (subject to qualifications and experience)

We are a rapidly expanding Australian Tutoring Company looking to hire a full-time Science Resource Developer. This is a stable, full-time remote career position within our academic team. We are looking for someone with strong Science subject knowledge who is seeking a long-term role and opportunities to grow within our team.

Your role:
• Develop Science educational resources for Years 7-10.
• Create questions with full working solutions and marking keys.
• Create and edit course materials, worksheets, and blogs.
• Assist our instructional design team with academic authoring and content projects.
• Opportunities to progress into senior or departmental roles based on performance.

Subject Matter Expertise (Topics): Years 7-10 Science
• Biology: cells, body systems, ecosystems, classification, reproduction, genetics, evolution and biological interactions.
• Chemistry: states of matter, mixtures and separation, elements and compounds, atomic structure, chemical reactions, ---------- and bases, and introductory chemical equations.
• Physics: forces and motion, energy, heat, light, sound, waves, electricity, circuits and introductory electromagnetism.
• Earth and Space Science: Earth's structure, rocks and minerals, plate tectonics, geological processes, weather and climate, the solar system, stars, galaxies and the universe.

Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of Years 7-10 Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth and Space Science.
• Excellent English communication and technical writing skills.
• Precise attention to detail.
• Great organisation and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable working remotely full-time (40 hours per week).
