UX/UI Designer & Front-End Developer

Change Craft is a Sacramento-based strategic communications firm serving government agencies, nonprofits, businesses, and political campaigns across California. We build brands, campaigns, and content that spark real connection, reaching families, educators, and communities across the markets we serve. We are a small, fast-moving team that values ownership, craft, and clear communication over process for its own sake.

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer & Front-End Developer to bring polish and craft to every screen our audience touches. This is a full-time, remote, long-term role open to candidates based in the Philippines. You will take designs from concept to responsive, accessible, production-ready builds, and continually raise the bar on what our web experiences feel like.

Key Responsibilities

Build responsive, accessible front-end experiences from design handoff through live deployment
Translate Figma and other design files into clean, maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (or framework of choice)
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device consistency, including performance and accessibility standards
Collaborate closely with designers to refine interaction details and edge cases
Maintain and improve existing site components and design systems
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end bugs quickly and independently
What You'll Bring

3–6 years of professional front-end development experience, with at least 3 years combining UX/UI design and front-end development
A strong portfolio of live, shipped responsive builds
Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks (React or Next.js preferred) and CSS tooling
Strong Figma proficiency and comfort working directly from design files with an eye for pixel-level detail
Solid understanding of accessibility (WCAG) best practices
Based in the Philippines
Nice to Have

Experience with Tailwind CSS and Figma-to-code workflows
Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Sanity, or other headless CMS solutions
Basic animation and motion experience (Framer Motion, GSAP)
