About BUILT

BUILT creates and manages websites for trades businesses across the UK, including plumbers, electricians, heating engineers and other home service professionals.

We use our own website-building platform to create new websites and maintain existing customer websites.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable Website Build & Content Assistant to support us on a remote, contract basis.

Your main responsibility will be building and updating websites using our platform. Full training on the platform will be provided, so experience with a particular website builder is not required.

Responsibilities:

- Building new websites using our website-building platform
- Adding and formatting written content, images, buttons and links
- Making revisions and amendments to existing websites
- Creating new service and location pages
- Reviewing AI-generated content for accuracy, grammar and readability
- Ensuring websites display correctly across desktop and mobile devices
- Following project instructions and completing work accurately
- Assisting with Google Business Profile tasks
- You will not be required to make calls with customers but will interact with them through messaging when they have feedback / amends for their website

- We are looking for someone who has:
- An excellent written understanding of English
- Strong attention to detail
- Good proofreading and quality-checking skills
- Confidence using online platforms and learning new systems
- The ability to follow written instructions carefully
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- A reliable internet connection
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Previous website-building experience required (services such as Wordpress, Wix or other website building platforms)

Desirable experience:

- Experience using a website builder or content management system
- Experience formatting website content
- Basic knowledge of SEO
- Experience using AI tools to create or edit content
- Experience managing Google Business Profiles
