YouTube Content Writer

the Creator Lane is looking for experienced YouTube and content scriptwriters to write and review scripts for client channels in business, marketing, technology, and documentary. Scripts typically run 3,500 to 4,000 words. The core skill is turning a complex topic into something a general audience understands immediately, without losing accuracy or the thread of the story.

You'll take assigned topics and research-backed outlines, build them into full drafts, and refine each one to match a specific channel's voice and audience.

Our scripts are AI-assisted, not AI-generated. You should be able to fold AI into your process to fact-check, catch grammar issues, and move quickly, while holding a high bar for creative storytelling and accuracy. The writing has to carry a story; the AI supports it, never replaces it.

What you'll do
- Turn assigned topics and research outlines into full 3,500 to 4,000 word drafts
- Break down dense business, tech, and marketing material so a general viewer follows it easily
- Edit and adapt drafts to fit each channel's voice, pacing, and audience
- Use AI in your workflow to fact-check and tighten grammar without copy-pasting output blindly
- Review and revise scripts against a high standard for retention, clarity, and storytelling
- Keep a clean filing system for drafts and deliverables
- Improve the process as you go, not just execute it

What you bring
- The ability to break down complex business, marketing, and technical topics so a general audience understands them immediately
- The ability to say the most with the least, keeping stories moving without filler
- Strong command of English grammar and mechanics
- A real understanding of retention and pacing
