YouTube Video Editor

I am looking for a reliable, creative video editor to help grow my YouTube, Instagram, and other social media platforms.

The primary responsibility will be editing long-form YouTube vlogs and turning that footage into short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.

My YouTube content will primarily use a simple, personality-driven vlog style similar to Sam Sulek — clean cuts, good pacing, natural conversations, training footage, minimal unnecessary effects, and an emphasis on storytelling rather than over-editing.

Expected weekly workload:

• 3 long-form YouTube videos per week
• Approximately 20–35 minutes finished length each
• 8–10 short-form videos per week
• Shorts will be created from the long-form footage
• Basic thumbnails when needed
• Organize footage and project files

Long-form editing style:

• Clean, simple cuts
• Remove unnecessary dead space
• Maintain natural personality and conversations
• Basic color correction
• Clean and balance audio
• Occasional text or graphics when useful
• Minimal transitions/effects
• Understand pacing and storytelling

Short-form editing:

• Identify strong moments/hooks from long-form footage
• 30–90 second vertical videos
• Captions/subtitles
• Punch-ins/zoom-ins when appropriate
• Strong pacing without making the videos feel over-edited
• Understand what makes fitness/bodybuilding content engaging

You will be working primarily with bodybuilding, fitness, lifestyle, business, and behind-the-scenes content.

I am looking for someone who can eventually understand my style well enough that I do not have to give detailed editing instructions for every video.

Requirements:

• Strong English comprehension
• Experience editing YouTube videos
• Experience editing Reels/Shorts/TikToks
• Reliable internet connection
• Able to work with 4K footage
• Good communication
• Consistent turnaround times
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to take feedback and make revisions

Experience with fitness or bodybuilding content is a plus but not required.
