I spent three years as a radio producer for a regional FM station in Bulacan. I knew how audio worked — the flow of a good conversation, where to cut, how to balance levels, when silence was an asset and when it was a problem. When the station restructured and my position was eliminated, I sat with the skills and wondered where else they belonged. Podcasting felt like the obvious answer.

I built my OnlineBestJobs.ph profile around the production side of podcasting specifically: audio editing in Audacity and Adobe Audition, noise removal, dynamic compression, chapter marking, transcript generation, show notes writing, episode publishing, and guest coordination. The profile attracted an Australian business podcast host within a fortnight. She was publishing monthly because production was taking too long. After I took over, she moved to weekly.

She referred me to two other hosts in her network within three months. I now produce six podcasts weekly — business, personal development, true crime, and one comedy interview show — for hosts in Australia, the US, and the UK. Each show has its own sound and editorial rhythm that I have come to know intimately. My clients tell me I make their shows sound professional without making them sound produced — which is exactly the balance every good podcast needs. From regional radio to global podcast production: the medium changed, the craft did not.
