MEDICAL DOCTOR (MD) WORKING AS REMOTE DOCTOR'S ASSISTANT - FULL TIME, CAMERA ON

IMPORTANT: This position is ONLY for applicants who hold a Doctor of Medicine degree. You will not be practicing medicine or treating patients. You will be working as a doctor's assistant supporting a US-based medical office. Applicants who are not medical doctors will not be considered.

We are a US-based medical office looking for a professional, reliable, English-fluent medical doctor to work remotely as our doctor's assistant. This is a long-term, full-time position on US Pacific Time hours, 50 hours per week.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school. You must be able to provide your diploma and supporting documents.
- This is a hard requirement. Nursing, medical assistant, caregiver, and allied health backgrounds do not qualify.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the doctor with clinical documentation and chart preparation
- Review patient information and summarize histories for the doctor
- Answer inbound patient calls and return messages promptly
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
- Patient intake: collect and enter demographic and insurance information
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Manage the office inbox and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain accurate records in the practice's EMR/EHR system
- Handle reminder calls, follow-ups, and no-show rescheduling
- Other administrative and clinical support tasks as assigned

NOTE ON SCOPE: You will work under the direction of a licensed US physician. You will not diagnose, prescribe, or provide medical advice to patients.

EQUIPMENT AND POWER REQUIREMENTS
- Reliable computer and a quality headset
- Stable high-speed internet, plus a BACKUP INTERNET connection
- MANDATORY BACKUP BATTERY: You must have a backup battery, UPS, or portable power station for your home office. If the electricity in your area is disconnected, you must still be able to work and stay on camera. Applicants without backup power will not be considered.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent spoken and written English - clear and easy to understand, comfortable on the phone with US patients all day
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and strong command of medical terminology
- Able to work US Pacific Time business hours, 50 hours per week
- HIPAA awareness and complete discretion with patient information

PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE AND CAMERA REQUIREMENTS
- This is a camera-on remote position.
- You must have a clean, organized, and professional office setup.
- Your background must always be neat, appropriate, and professional during working hours.
- You must remain available on camera when required during your shift.
- You are expected to wear clean, professional business attire while working.
- Your overall appearance and workspace should reflect the standards of a professional medical office.
- Your camera, microphone, lighting, internet connection, and workspace may be reviewed before employment.

SELECTION PROCESS
- There will be MULTIPLE INTERVIEWS conducted by live video call (FaceTime, Zoom, or similar). You must be able to appear on camera for each one.
- Before you begin working with our office, you will complete a TEST OF PUNCTUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM. This includes showing up on time, on camera, properly dressed, in a clean workspace.
- Your medical degree will be verified.
- Only apply if you are fully comfortable with all of the above.

COMPENSATION
$1,000 - $2,000 USD per month, depending on experience. Full time, 50 hours per week. Long-term position with room to grow.
