Job Description
Facilitate and manage quality issues, including customer claims, using established guidelines,
procedures, and company policies.
• Lead the investigation and analysis of customer claims and prepare investigation reports and customer
claim feedback using appropriate problem-solving methodologies, including 8D and PDCA, to identify root
causes and establish corrective and preventive actions.
• Own and lead in-process defect reduction activities and Failure Cost Analysis and Improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and control quality-related KPIs, including but not limited to in-process defects and raw material
and product losses, and prepare reports for submission to the Department Head.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives involving automation, cost reduction, process
optimization, efficiency improvement, and safety, and monitor the implementation and effectiveness of
such initiatives.
• Monitor assigned quality improvement KPIs and ensure that improvement activities are implemented and
sustained.
• Coordinate with all relevant departments and sections to facilitate the resolution of quality issues and
implementation of quality improvements.
• Collaborate with section heads, supervisors, officers, and other responsible personnel to develop and
implement quality controls and improvement measures.
• Coordinate and report to the Department Head on customer and supplier quality-related matters, including
guaranteed lots, assured lots, dangerous lots, and failure cost concerns.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers, as necessary, regarding quality issues, investigation results,
corrective actions, and improvement activities.
• Develop and maintain product specifications and quality requirements for production activities.
• Maintain process capability and continuously improve applicable quality standards and controls.
• Interpret engineering drawings and provide technical solutions and guidance for QA measurements and
inspections.
• Provide timely technical analysis and recommendations for both internal and external quality issues.
• Prepare, review, and maintain quality-related documents, including Control Plans, Quality Inspection
Plans, PFMEA, Work Instructions (WI), and other applicable quality documents.
• Monitor the proper implementation of established quality controls and quality requirements throughout the
manufacturing process.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality management systems, company policies, procedures, and
standards.
• Support internal and external audits and other quality-related activities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate quality analysis, investigation, improvement, KPI, and other required
reports and documentation.
• Present quality findings, analysis, progress, and recommendations to the Department Head and other
concerned management personnel.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Skills Required
engineering disciplines, including Control Plan, FMEA, and Time and Motion Study.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, customers, suppliers, co-workers, and cross
functional sections, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to lea
