Staffing Operations Specialist

We're looking for a Staffing Operations Specialist to join an early-stage security technology startup as their first offshore operations hire.

This company uses technology to make it easier for businesses to access and manage security services. This role will help make sure staffing requests are handled quickly, shifts are fulfilled, and both workers and clients have the support they need.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and moving quickly. You'll manage daily staffing operations, coordinate workers and schedules, support clients, and help keep operations running smoothly.

As their first offshore operations hire, you'll have a lot of ownership and a direct impact on the overall business. You'll be trained on their systems and processes, but you'll also be expected to take initiative, make decisions, work independently, and take things and run with them.

What You'll Do
- Manage daily staffing operations, including schedules, shift fulfillment, and last-minute coverage.
- Coordinate with workers and partners to make sure staffing requests are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Communicate with workers to coordinate shifts, answer questions, and resolve issues.
- Communicate with clients about staffing needs, schedule changes, and operational issues.
- Help onboard new workers and ensure they are ready for their assignments.
- Monitor daily operations and quickly address issues as they come up.
- Manage internal communications and make sure important information gets to the right people quickly.
- Identify operational problems and find practical ways to improve processes.
- Give feedback to the product and engineering team when something isn't working or could be improved.
- Use Claude Code, Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools to solve problems, improve workflows, and work more efficiently.
- Take on different responsibilities as the company grows.

What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in staffing, workforce management, or operations, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience coordinating shifts, schedules, workers, or real-time staffing needs.
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients, workers, or operations is highly preferred.
- Previous startup experience is a strong plus.
- Comfortable communicating directly with both clients and workers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle issues quickly as they come up.
- Able to work independently, take ownership, and make decisions without needing constant direction.
- Flexible and comfortable taking on different types of work as priorities change.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools to solve problems, improve workflows, or automate tasks.
- Comfortable learning new systems and working with technology.
- Willing to speak up, share ideas, and give feedback when something isn't working.
- Security industry or other shift-based staffing experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must be available to work U.S. time zones.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated WFH setup required.

Salary and Benefits
- Base salary: 65,000 PHP per month
- Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays
- 100% WFH
