Position Overview

The Job Developer will be responsible for developing relationships with employers, identifying new employment opportunities, generating job openings, and connecting qualified candidates with companies that are hiring.
This position combines business development, employer outreach, recruiting, sales, networking, and job placement. The ideal candidate is confident communicating with business owners, HR managers, recruiters, and hiring managers and is capable of developing long-term employer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and contact companies that are actively hiring.
Develop new employer accounts and business relationships.
Contact business owners, HR managers, recruiters, and hiring managers.
Generate new job orders and employment opportunities.

Present recruitment and job-posting solutions to businesses.
Understand employer hiring needs, job requirements, and staffing challenges.
Obtain detailed job descriptions and hiring requirements from employers.
Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective employers.

Develop strategic relationships with local and national employers.

Maintain accurate records of employer contacts, opportunities, job orders, and follow-ups in the CRM.
Monitor the status of open positions and employer relationships.
Develop repeat business and long-term employer partnerships.
Research labor-market trends and identify industries with strong hiring demand.
Participate in virtual meetings, networking events, employer presentations, and recruitment initiatives.
Meet established employer-acquisition, job-order, placement, and revenue targets.
Employer Development
The Job Developer will focus heavily on building the employer side of the marketplace by:
Finding companies with current or anticipated hiring needs.
Establishing direct relationships with decision-makers.
Securing new job listings and hiring opportunities.
Developing recurring employer accounts.
Understanding workforce requirements.
Creating partnerships with businesses, staffing companies, recruiters, and HR departments.
Increasing the number and quality of job opportunities available through ---------- .
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in business development, recruiting, sales, staffing, employment services, or a related field.
Strong understanding of employer recruitment and hiring processes.
Proven ability to develop business relationships.
Experience with B2B sales or employer outreach preferred.

Strong telephone, email, and online communication skills.
Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.

Proficiency with CRM systems, email, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online recruiting platforms.
Familiarity with LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter/Sales Navigator is a plus.
Strong knowledge of the California employment market is preferred.
